Where'd the time go?

I can't believe that it has been a month since I posted to my blog. Grrrrrr, I hate being sick.
I have been sick since the last week of December and I'm sick of being sick.
On the knitting front:
I have managed to keep on knitting to some extent, anyway. I ran out of yarn for the MarketSquares BAL. So, that is on hold until I can get in to Kalamazoo to Handweavers and get some more Happy Red Lopi yarn.
I have the Daffodil socks at the point where I need to try them on a person with a small foot to see if I can start the toes. Only big footed people nearby. Got to get to Annie or Mom to check that out. They both have small feet. I actually got Annie to try them on once to check the circumference by telling her that I needed to have someone with small feet try on my socks. I don't think that she suspected that they were for her. he-he-he
I sewed up 9 baby hats and 2 pr of booties last weekend. I tried to start the purple poncho that is in the latest issue of Creative Knitting last night. Couldn't concentrate and was 1 st off by the 5th row. Jumped in the frog pond and called it a night.
Dieing to dye:
I have some nice light grey wool yarn that I re-claimed from a Goodwill find. I want to Kool-aid
dye it. I bought a ton of Kool-aid in purples, blues, greens and pinks. Now I just need to feel up to spending the better part of a day experimenting.
Six-Sox-Knitalong:
Call me silly, but I joined another knit a long. I came in too late on the now ending knit a long.
I am waiting for the one that begins on April 1. I hope that I already have some yarn that I can use. I am getting yarn poor, lately. Gotta get some more knitting done to justify more purchases.
Gotta go knit,
DJ
